Gucci Mane and V Nasty unveil the first collab off their highly anticipated mixtape. Seems like the White Girl Mob is going back to that name and dropping “Girl Gang” and V Nasty is leaving the N word alone… probably two good moves for their movement.

The first week numbers are beginning to come in for Wale’s critically acclaimed Sophomore album Amibiton. According to HITS Daily, he is slated to hit the charts with a strong 170-190k units. Thats way up from his Interscope debut that only did 28k first week.

Wale, the D.C.-based hip-hop artist who was dropped from Interscope after his 2009 debut, Attention Deficit, and signed to rapper Rick Ross’ Maybach Music Group imprint at WB, turns out to be the real surprise. First-week estimates from those retailers around the country who haven’t shut down and reopened as Herman Cain campaign headquarters, peg his sophomore album Ambition, to sell between 170-190k, which puts him in the hunt for a red-hot November debut.

The man now known as 2chainz, and 1/2 of Playaz Circle released his highly anticipated mixtape “TrueREALigion” featuring himself, DJ Drama, and a slew of guest appearances.  I took the time to run over to Livemixtapes and check it out.  I have been listening to a lot of his last mixtape/collective and expected a lot going into this.

I think the mixtape was ok. A number of features took away a little of the spotlight from 2 Chainz’ natural charisma. The beats are all knocking, and the material is more of what you love to hear. Big Sean drops a hilarious verse on K.O. T.I. gets back in touch with T.I.P. the hustler and drops a near classic verse on ‘Spend It’ and Kreayshawn drops an actual decent verse on murder.
